Before the Bloom.
Rabbitbrush and desert plants live a hearty life. I’ve spent a few years wandering amongst them, enamored with their shape and their seasons, especially in the winter and spring. Their beauty is in their resilience. In their cold, bare survival. Right before the bloom.
Prints available 6/5 at 9am PST
Originals of these paintings are up at the REMAX gallery on Greenwood Ave through June. Those that have not been claimed will be available on the site July 1st.

I’ve always had a tendency to wander
Whether it is in my mind or my feet, when the conjunction of those two meandering entities find the need for a dirt road or trail, I’ll see you when it gets dark. With this funny little compulsion comes the need to express what I feel when roaming and observing a landscape, a tree, a sky that settling into dusk. And most of the time, paint and art gives me that outlet.
Welcome to my little world where the colors and shapes from my wanderings fall on to canvas.
